- Considering ads on the eflightwiki - I want to let the contributors and viewers here at the eflightwiki know that I am considering commercial ads on this web site. The funding for this site originally piggy backed on an unrelated personal project of mine, but that project ended long ago and the eflightwiki continues to grow. Since launching this site four years ago, I've personally funded the bandwidth requirements which have added up to significant sums. In an attempt make the site more sustainable, I am considering commercial ads. I don't want the ads to displace content, so I'm eyeing the empty space below the 'toolbox'. Nor do I want the content to be affected by the ads so I'm looking at Google's AdSense. I believe their policies could comfortably co-exist with this Wiki's policies and culture. If you have thoughts or comments you'd like to express please post them in the 'discussion' section of the main page or you can email me directly at lloo@eme.ca.--Leon 23:04, 1 July 2009 (MDT)
