Any tools or materials used or employed in building a model.
- Adhesives
- Tape
- Balsa: The traditional model aircraft material.
- Foam
- Composites: The expert's choice - glass, carbon or kevlar threads and cloth, held together with epoxy (or other) resins, often over a balsa or foam former. This can give the strongest, lightest structures, and some of the techniques are suprisingly easy.
