Fixed Pitch Rotor Head
Collective Pitch Rotor Head

The rotor head is collectively the parts that directly support and control the main blades of a helicopter. The rotor head is generally considered to consist of the parts above the swashplate, though the term is often expanded to include the swashplate assembly. Fixed pitch rotor heads usually consist of fewer parts and are of a more simple design than collective pitch rotor heads. Because of this, FP heads are often easier to adjust and less susceptible to damage in a crash.
