I'm a recent arrival to the RC hobby. I received an mCP X for Christmas in 2011 and it soon multiplied into a fleet (including brushless upgrades). I purchased a 450X when they were released and now I'm looking at planks. In short: I'm hooked, and I'd like to try to collect the limited knowledge I've collected so far in a central place to make it easier for new people to get up to speed in the hobby.

I have several years of MediaWiki experience, including administration and organization of the maemo.org wiki and contributions to Wikipedia. I can answer most all wiki editing questions, so feel free to ask me here or on the HeliFreak forums.

• Good idea regarding the trademarks. Wikipedia used to use them quite a bit, but it appears they've changed the policy. Yes, we can clean those up since I believe in following the WP style guidelines.--VoltFlyer 11:04, 10 June 2012 (MDT)
