I've been flying since 2004, when my third daughter was born and I started looking for a hobby that could be fitted in to the odd bit of free time I had available.

I taught myself with FMS and a SlowStick, then graduated to a Superflea, then started winding cdrom motors and building foamies. In 2007 I started flying helicopters.

I work as a software engineer because I enjoy designing and building things, and the pay and opportinuties are better than most other forms of engineering. I studied Aerospace Engineering and have always been interested in flying.
